Acupuncture & Chinese Herbal Medicine:
Acupuncture is a component of Traditional Chinese Medicine in which hair thin, sterile needles are strategically inserted into points around the body. Acupuncture is used to rebalance the flow of energy or “qi” in the body to alleviate pain and help restore balance. At our office we use acupuncture to effectively treat a variety of ailments including back pain , knee pain, neck and shoulder pain, autoimmune pain, fertility and female reproductive conditions, urinary conditions, digestive disturbances, emotional wellness, and more.
Initial consultations and treatments are based on the individuals needs. First Appointments are usually 1 hour to 1 hour and 15 minutes in length. Comprehensive intake will be done focusing on the Acupuncture medical model.
Other treatments could entail cupping, fire cupping, e-stim (electrical stimulation) on the needles, Gua Sha and Tui Na (medical massage).
We also offer consultations on Chinese herbs, supplements, including diet and lifestyle modification recommendations to improve patients health. Dr. Medero has been very successful in treating conditions that people have not found any relief from their western doctor. Call for a free consultation.
Follow-up appointments are recommended. This appointment usually lasts between 45 minutes to an hour.
